Parking InstructionsWhen visiting the Rural Institute at the University of Montana, parking is available in three designated visitor parking spaces that are marked with "Rural Institute" signs. Two of these designated visitor parking spaces are located along Connell Avenue, in front of Brantly Hall; the third space is located in front of Corbin Hall, in Parking Lot K-1 (see map below). All visitors parking in these spaces must display a valid Rural Institute parking pass on their dash, which is available ahead of time by calling Jean Paskert at 406-243-5467, or by asking our receptionist for a pass after you arrive. The University is very quick about ticketing and towing unauthorized vehicles, so please make sure you have a valid Rural Institute parking pass when you arrive or quickly obtain on from our receptionist after you arrive. In addition to the three Rural Institute visitor parking spaces, the University provides many "Quick Stop" (free 20 minute parking spaces) around campus, maintains several hourly pay parking lots, and sells regular day parking passes. To learn more about these options, call the University Public Safety office at (406) 243-6132, or visit them on-line at http://www.umt.edu/home/map/. ![]() |
