Montana FWP's Crossing the Barriers.

Started 1989, Crossing the Barriers is an initiative by the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) to provide continual improvement and full access to department sites and programs. The department is proud to have created accessibility at every FWP regional headquarters, fish hatchery visitor centers, and many fishing access sites and state parks. Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW).

Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) is a program of the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) designed to introduce women to outdoor skills and activities.  The program provides information, mentorship, and training in many outdoor recreational activities to encourage women's participation.  BOW of Montana is one of many BOW programs nationwide open to anyone 18 years of age and older, encourages participation by women with disabilities, and has made an effort to provide assistive technology and adaptive equipment necessary for full access to their programs.
